4AD have posted up an Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti session which was filmed ahead of the official release of 'Before Today', which is one of my favourite albums this year by a mile. The album is also currently lying in 10th place over on RYM's top albums for 2010 thus far. You can watch the video for 'Menopause Man' below or the entire session in one go here. The session includes:
1. Menopause Man
2. Spires In The Snow
3. Little Wig
4. Flashback
5. L'Estat (According to the Widow's Maid)

UPDATE: This Is Head, The Black Keys & Top RYM Albums of 2010!
I've been away on tour with the excellent This Is Head and will post up something on the tour and the band as soon as I have the energy! For now though, go give their incredible debut album a listen on Spotify. For fans of krautrock, early U2, New Order, Ennio Morricone and everything in between!
Whilst I've been gone, The Black Keys released their unofficial official video for the next single off their upcoming album, 'Brothers':
I've also just been looking at the latest 2010 rankings on RYM and think it's shaping up pretty nicely! Although RYM lists often features a few too many metal albums for my liking, this list is pretty damn varied and includes Flying Lotus, Erykah Badu, Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti (which I've been listening to a lot this past week!), The Tallest Man On Earth, The National, Beach House and LCD Soundsystem in the top 20.
That's all for now, but look out for the This Is Head post!

UPDATE: Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti - Before Today (2010)
The new album is out on 4th June and has apparently leaked, although none of the links seem to be working anymore. Although I'm sure if you try hard enough, you'll find it somewhere...but go out and buy the album and support one of my favourite artists of recent times! The album has gone straight in at 19th best of the year so far on Rate Your Music though and leaves me very excited. The only thing strange about the album is the numer of old songs that have been redone for the album. An example of this is 'Beverly Kills (Freak With Golden Heirs)', off 'Scared Famous', which I also found a cool new video for on You Tube.

ALBUM OF THE WEEK: Neon Indian - Psychic Chasms (2009)
When I first heard about this album last year, I never really thought it'd be my thing, as I'm not that into electronic music and the terms chill-wave etc kinda put me off. Anyway, I randomly started listening to it yesterday and I must say that I really do like this album. It's not mind blowing or a classic by any means, but it's definitely gonna be getting some serious play time over the coming months. The first songs that really drew me in are 'Deadbeat Summer' and 'Terminally Chill', but the album is exactly that, an album and is definitely best when played all the way through. It's kinda like Daft Punk and Ariel Pink, in that it sounds quite Daft Punky in places, but has the mood/feel of an Ariel Pink album. Anyway, check out the videos below and take a listen for yourself.
