Not just a great soundtrack, but a great album. It's so perfectly melancholic and was the ideal soundtrack for the film. I love all Jon Brion's work, including his other soundtrack work on Magnolia, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Punch-Drunk Love and Synecdoche New York, his solid solo album, 'Meaningless' and his amazing production on Kanye West's best album, 'Late Registration'.
