Free - Fire and Water (1970)
This really is a great album. It's only 35 minutes long, but I often find myself wishing more artists would take the less is more route and there are certainly few other albums which pack so much soul into every song. Paul Rodger's voice still sounds as powerful as ever and is one of the best in the business. Paul Kossoff's guitar licks are perfect...never overdoing it, but still managing to rock as hard as bands like Deep Purple when called upon. This and 'Tons of Sobs' are probably my favourite two Free albums, although I haven't given their other albums as much time. All their albums are on Spotify, so if you've never really given them much time, take the time to listen to them and you'll find they were so much more than 'All Right Now.'
