I was just thinking about the hip-hop releases so far this year and how nothing really great has been released (that I know of or have heard) thus far. Anyway, The Roots will be back with a new album in June and here's to hoping they can raise the bar and kick start the year! The band recently became Jimmy Fallon's house band after he took over from Conan and in my opinion that can only be a good thing.
