The Mantles hail from San Francisco and state their influences as "stanky blues" and think they sound like "there's an ocean nearby..." Whether or not they actually sound like this, I'm not too sure, but their self-titled debut album had my attention on the first listen and has some great tunes, with 'Don't Lie' probably my favourite out of the lot. Plus the album cover is really cool. The album's on Spotify, so give it a listen, but first check out these two videos. The first one is awesome and made me want to check out the film it was set to Paper Moon (1973).
