NEW: Harlem - Hippies (2010)

Harlem have just released the follow-up to 2008s 'Free Drugs ;-)' and whilst it's not perfect, it's pretty much 40mins of garage rock fun. Whilst they do sound very similar to The Black Lips, they're still not quite as diverse as the Black Lips for me. Highlights include 'Someday Soon', 'Gay Human Bones' and 'Prairie My Heart'.

For fans of: The Strange Boys, The Black Lips, King Khan & The BBQ Show, Ty Segall and 60s garage rock.

New Harlem album 2010

 Harlem are due to release their new album, 'Hippies', next year and hopes are high following their awesome debut 'Free Drugs ;)', which included classics such as 'South of France' and 'Psychedelic Tits.' Matador have put a sample up on their website entitled 'Friendly Ghost'.
